Dartmoor Wild Food Forage and Meet...

Hi , know it's short notice but i am holding a wild food/fungi forage meet for w/e Friday 21st September to Sunday 23rd September, with main walk/forage booked for the Saturday ,nothing too serious or taxing ,more of a skill and knowledge sharing experience,or you can just chill in the woods , short walk to the site,parachute up, plenty of space to hang or ground dwell,all heavy cooking items etc already on site.

Cost £5.00 to owner of site , fresh water and limited close parking only issues.

Please put name here in first instance , and directions etc dealt with by Pm , numbers limited also posted on Dartmoor Bushcraft (closed group )

Right! hello peeps , this little gathering is coming together nicely via various mediums, firewood and water issues are sorted and as regards group meals etc thought we would do usual and chuck a fiver in the kitty to fund our woodland catering.

Anyone planning coming before Friday or wishing to stay after Sunday ,please let me know , i will be in the woods from early Friday morning also those that are not sure of directions give me a shout .

Could anyone with unusual colour paracord that is surplus , please bring it with them and i will reimburse them (only for bracelets)

Also if anyone has a highlander 25 pack or such like, I am looking for one. There will be two very keen boys attending , newbies! so any bushy type items any of you have lying around , surplus to requirements , would be very much appreciated.

Not to worry Phill, i am sure we will get you along to one of our little do's before very long mate. I know it was short notice for a few that couldn't make this one , so sorry to those seething! But i have a few things up my sleeve for Oct and Nov, which will be announced (with plenty of warning!)

I am always happy to PM anyone about planned events , but don't like it to resemble a wedding/funeral/christening, you don't want to attend!
