ive got loads of them down here, infact we had a hornets nest over our porch last year.
they are of much sweeter nature than wasps, they just sound like a army helicopter when they fly.

They are predators and like to eat wasps They are relatively non-aggressive since they live in quite small colonies and the loss of one individual is significant.

The first time I heard one I thought a micro-light airplane was landing in my garden
