Terrible news I'm afraid.

Damian O'Toole, one of my very best friends and of course a member of this group passed away yesterday after a sudden heart attack.

I have no further details at this time.

Our condolences go out to Michalina and their family.

Damian will make his last journey in his bushcraft gear reflecting his great love of the outdoors.

I have also had a couple of sudden heart attacks. None have taken me yet and for that I consider myself to be incredibly lucky.

Apparently, he was just going to the door to collect a delivery and collapsed.

The delivery man heard the dogs going berserk and saw what was happening through the window.

He raised the alarm but by the time the paramedics arrived it was all over.

For those of you that knew Damian, who sadly passed away almost a year ago now, I have a provisional date for the memorial, which was delayed because of Covid of course.

Subject to confirmation of the booking this will now be held in Coventry on 20th November 2021 from 12:30 until 6pm.

I will of course post more details as soon as I receive them.
