Cracking stoves for £2

I have been googling how to make stoves, and came accross this; Make your own Meths Stove

Then I had a quick look on eBay, and theres a guy making the same cans stove for £2. Are these any good? £2 stoves

(i dont have any affiliation with either of these, just out of pure interest)

Trust me make it yourself there a doodle and save yourself nearly £4

ive just made one with a lynx can today and it took less than an hour from start to finnish and works a treat google lynx can stove and it will bring up how too on this forum

Yeh i was thinking of it, looks a bit tricky to me tho. A good video would suit me better if you know of any?

£2 or half an hour of your time, they're dead easy to make

Why not make some pop/ coke can stoves yourself..................there are plenty of tutorials on Youtube.......
these can stoves don't last long but they're easy enough to make, even in the field.

they are really easy to make, have a go

for two quid and for the about of work he put in its well worth the money if you use these things, or you can make your own if you have a couple of hours spare

much more robust than a pop can stove and will last indefinitely. pop can stoves are fun though and there are some great tutorials at zenstoves.net as well as templates to help with cutting and jetting

how long do they last?

unless you somehow crush them (and that's not nearly as easy as you'd imagine) they'll last forever, there's nothing at all to wear out and fail. as others have already said, have a go at making one yourself, they're great fun and really addictive and cost absolutely nothing
