Couple of Hazel Spoons - lightly Spalted Hmm

Had a mighty fine day out in the woods yesterday, Thought i would share a few pictures of the spoons i made using the new knife!
Thanks to Hugo from this parish for supplying me with a beautiful Spalted Beach, Brass bolstered Hugo Whittler, and yesterdays company!

Looking good mate, nice attention to detail on the spoons, that wood you used was dry so not as easy as the ones I started and finished today.

Nice Spoons RockMonkey, nice spalting on the knife handle I'd like something like that for my Mora 120 handle.

I like spalted beach a lot, i made my golok handle of the last of it that Hugo gave me!
It was nice to carve something different for a change!

And some spalted Sycamore, i think!
