You need a door frame, outdoors to stop your eyes streaming, it was, in many of the old "tied cottages", the only outdoor door frame

I find it a weirdly therapeutic activity...string after string.

Reminds me of the "French onion men"...I guess only people of a certain age remember them now.

I like the way the barn smells now though
