Does Angel eyes come back from the dead then?![]()
Colonel Mortimer isn't the same character as Angel Eyes, they're just both played by Lee Van Cleef.
Likewise, Ramon Rojo isn't the same character as Indio, again they just happen to be played by the same actor (Gian Maria Volonte).
Chronologically, GBU should come first - it's also where Clint's character acquires the horse-blanket poncho (scene with the dying soldier, just before the graveyard sequence).
OK, anorak off now...![]()

It's actually not a horse blanket (or a poncho for that matter) It's a Mexican serape. They're also common among the Incas although made of alpaca wool there.
