Realised that I had made and given away a few three section cleaves, but had not made or kept one for myself, remedied that this afternoon with one made from locally sourced Ash.

Cheers Broch, don't really limit their use, if it looks like it might split well it gets used, mainly use them on Willow, Hazel & Bramble though, always figured that if i break it, i can just make another serviceable one in the field and either refine it or make a posh one back in the workshop.
