hi guys, im wanting to get my dad a knife for christmas but i cant decide which 1. so far i havea in my list

he is interested in my carving stuff so he may want a go

If it is for carving then the Mora will not disappoint, but I would go for the Mora 106 first. That being said, if this is an all round knife then the Condor has at least twice the mojo. The Mora is a fantastic value tool but it has a machine finished handle and comes with a plastic sheath. The Condor has a hardwood handle and although its not the best sheath in the world it is at least leather. So IMHO for that Xmas morning "Oooh!" factor, I would go for the Condor. The Svord is a good choice too but you will immediately get into the whole blade length edc problem.

The Svord is a very good knife, but not sure I'd like to be relying on a friction folder up a tree...
