You'd have to pray that the police had an amnesty going on up here and if Michael McMahon, the "carry a knife go to jail" politician had his way, the kid would be sent to the children's panel and the parents to Barlinnie and Cornton Val

I'm never quite sure about the whaling bit; like their anime monsters type thing, kind of weird I mean, who could kill and eat a dolphin ? they're smart, it'd be like eating an orangutan.
Different folks, different strokes, I suppose.

When I was in school I had a little pencil case set that had a small pencil sharpening knife in it.

I used to use a penknife to sharpen my pencils at school. Nobody batted an eyebrow back then.

Sadly things have changed. Now I carry a Broadsword, Scramasax, Hadseax and two axes into schools instead.

I have carried a knife daily since I was about 9 - except when flying - and it has never been a problem.
However carrying a whale is another question ... I have to haul around too much blubber under my waistband to think of sticking a whale in my pockets as well!
