Cegga - short handle model - just curious

Just wondered..........have had this years, bought s/hand as I thought it looked good at the time, but just wondered if anyone could tell me what it's called, what it's used for and if they're at all desirable please...

Its called an axe . It very similar to a GB Hand Hatchet

although I think that Michael was making them first . Its for carving, splitting kindling down, feathering even light limbing.

Almost certainly bought originally from one of the group buys Michael and I organised on here.

They are well made, popular axes.

It looks exactly like the Hultafors Bruks Classic Mini Hatchet I just bought. Only a novice here but it's a pretty good quality Swedish hand axe, very sharp useful for chopping small firewood, trimming small branches, rough hand carving etc (watch your fingers though - already took a chunk out of mine) I paid about £45 new

Well, it would look like a Hultafors axe. Cegga is the master smith at Hultafors
