Anyone try catching insects for food or bait at night using a light, perhaps with a sheet or some other way? I have been thinking of giving it a try just for the fun of it. I know primitive people often ate quite a few insects.
ive set up and moth traps with a simple lamp and a white sheet on a washing line but i dont think you will get much food out of it. Very interesting though!
Lol.....Yes, moth traps will bring in all sorts of insects at night. May bugs have been the biggest insect in the trap, but some of the hawk moths are pretty big...
