Just wanted to share a bargain pick up. got myself an old canvas daysack from local secondhand shop for 3 quid. Bit battered but in working order has front and side pouches and a nice retro feel. Just finished proofing it with Fjallraven Greenland wax (thought I would give it a go) and as well as the water beading nicely it seems to have given the canvas a new softer feel as well. I know it won't stand up to real weather like a modern sac but with a dri bag inside it should be very nice I think. Even has an axe loop on the side.
