The Apache owners club are going to be paddling the top 5/6 miles of the Mersey canoe trail on sat 7th nov. Anybody want to come ? Everybody welcome even if you dont have an apache we are not snobbish 
The plan is to meet at the put in at Ford street in Stockport at 10 am sort out the car shuttles down to Northenden and then get on the water. Its a great part of the river with easy WW and a few weirs. Portages are available if you dont fancy running the weirs. A couple of brew stops along the way and a play on the weir at Northenden at the end.
