Can anyone ID this axe head?

As title really.

Got this off my dad today, he found it clearing the garage out. Its well rusty but after half an hour sanding and scraping i got the makers stamp out the best i could.

It looks like an eye or small animal, hedgehog maybe.

If anyone knows what it is, is it worth taking the time to clean it up and rehandle it??

The head weighs 725 grams. It looks hand made by the tool marks underneath, i didn't take a pic of that though.

Do you know much about them? what the steels like etc? I had a look on google but couldn't really find any info.

I know they are a very old company.Ive got a few tools by the same maker and i think the steel is top notch!

Thanks mate. looks like the head could be nearly 200 years old.
