i heard that the british army are changing there meal, after complains that the US hass beter once. Not talking about the rations, but if it is reflected in the british rations...

British army rations are the evny of the fighting world!! Every theatre I ever served in were always abl;e to swap our rations for treble of those of any other nation - in Bosnia I once got a full weeks rations and two bottle od wine from a Belgian apc crew for one british four man ration pack. This wasnt haggled they offered that as the opening price!

I have a friend who got a complete set of USA goretex for one 24 hrs boil in the bag pack - i.e three meals, brew kit ect ect bargin! :shock:

In Canada on an escape and evasion exercise I was lifted by canadian MP's while poaching a fish or two, anyway they were so embrassed to give me MRE's to eat before they handed me over for interrigation that they used to take me to their canteen, of course that stopped once they realised I'd borrowed a set of cutlery and attempting to do a runner again! :rolmao:
