Well !! What an absolutely fantastic time I had at the moot. Seeing the faces old and new, having a laugh, learning new skills, drinking the odd glass:naughty: Thanks a lot to all who made it special. Not mentioning names cuz there are far too many but you know who you are :)

D

We had thoroughly lovely time, the campfire we were camped near had fantastic people around it. From Rich 59 lighting it with a bow drill in morning, to the conversation a night. The knowlegde exchange was unbelievable. The place is utterly beautiful, and weather made it more so.

Thank you everyone

Just got back.

That's the one bad thing about the Bushmoot - at some point you have to go home :(

And let me just say thanks to everyone who was there and made it an enjoyable experience for me. Especially Tony and the team for organising it :You_Rock_

Counting down the days till next year....

My first bushmoot and I had a great time!! Thanks to Tony and co for organising it and thanks to everyone who passed on knowledge, jokes and homebrew :)

I don't get it

It would seem that a favorite hobby of certain bushcrafters is to create some very strong concoctions, pour them into a clear glass bottle and then send them on their merry way amongst another group of unsuspecting bushcrafters. :240:

But they know it's got alcohol in it of course...?! I expect the smell would give it away :-)

Just thinking of the nightmare if you're on certain types of medication!

I don't get it

It's a long story involving a collection of suspicious looking bottles, several bushcrafters, a few hangovers and at least one dose of mild alcohol poisoning. Put all those things together and you've got yourself a story.
And if anyone figures out what the story is would they mind letting me know, as I'm a little hazy with the details.

Thanks everyone for a superb time at the Moot :You_Rock_ Everybody made us feel so welcome.

Now I keep getting asked when we can do Atl-Atl again so that's some more of my weekends sorted

Far too many people to mention, I hope we see you all again!

Andy

Good to see everyone who made it both new and old to the Bushmoot, I look forward to meeting you all again.

Many thanks to Tony, Shelley, Stuart, Mark and Lorraine and all the others who have worked so hard behind the scenes for their time and for producing another good event:You_Rock_

Hi

Just to say thank you to everybody at the moot last weekend, both my daughter and I had a great time and special thanks to George for the fire making, Richard for the cordage instruction and whistle making instruction, Andy Sarge for his knife instruction and beer bread last but not least Tony for the spoon making instruction.

Once again a great weekend and looking forward to next year.

Chris

So sad that it had to end...

Petal/susan/two flower/harry/hippy (this man has a serious personality disorder), Switch, Mushroom Lady and the 'zen' area crew, see you again next year.

Tony book me in now ;)

Oh yes could one of you break an arm before you come? I need a person to demonstrate on.:lmao:
