We're getting pretty good at this. They're very quiet inside.

The best way is with wind-packed snow and a snow saw. You can cut nice big blocks, and they're not heavy. But that kind of snow is rare.

Usually we use molds, either purpose-built, or 5-gallon buckets, or coolers.

The key is to start on flat ground with a perfect circle.
