I'd agree with Geuf being it not Dutch Army ... and second John Fenna with them being no-issue, as there are some whit-ish lines on the butt pockets ... Could be a 'cheap' copy / civy imitation

And, believe it or not, the Romanians! However, they didn't start until recently so you can probably count them out. The Dutch DPM is very similar to the UK's but looks slightly paler and more 'washed out'.

Are you sure that they aren't a Dutch type? As the UK are not the only ones to use the same style of DPM...

I'm sure these were issued trousers after studying the faded label under different lights I can make out the the nato size and then the 72/88/104 the label does look very similar to army labels.

Just seen a pair of 85 pattern trousers on evilbay that have the same style and number of pockets so mine must be a 'crossover' pair?

looks very similar in colour to the camos I was issued as a cadet - that would have been late 70's early 80's.

they are the one's that were brought into service in the late 80's to the early 90's...the inside lining only goes down to just below your knees..they were a cheap replacement for the 70's to 80's dpm combats. i know because i have a pair in the attic along wth the jacket
