I have to say. I have two of the Chris Caine collection, the companion and the survival tool. Both are fantastic user's and really well made. Good materials, heat treat, fit and finish.
The survival tool especially so.
It clears an area, better than anything else.
It's great at chopping/processing wood.
It carves well.
It's good at digging. (Doesn't sound important, untill you start foraging, digging a **** pit and so on)
It's an improvement on the legendary Parang. A traditional Parang is of a stick tang construction. The Chris Caine tool is full tang, an absolute beast.)
I do honestly them to anyone. They work, simple as.
