Huge great long toes We've got snow, and I can follow it's tracks around the garden as clear as my own footprints If I open the door it quietly steps it's way over behind the meadowsweet and rushes beside the wee pond to hide itself
I'm quietly chuffed

It's a juvenile one I reckon, but those white bars along the wings, the tail, and the feet are pretty unmistakable.
