Video editing

I think there are a few of us here who make videos, so thought maybe we could have a thread for sharing tips/tricks/discussing all things editing.

I’m an absolute amateur, just to get that out of the way.

Anyway, one of my favourite YouTubers, Atomic Shrimp, has just uploaded a video showing his editing process which he explains in his usual clear and helpful manner.

Already a few bits on there that I’m going to be giving a go.

He mentions DaVinci Resolve and I can second that recommendation. No need to pay for the studio version if you’d prefer not to, the free version is pretty comprehensive.

Yeah DaVinci is cracking to play with. I need to do more to properly get techniques in my head but it’s amazing what the free version can achieve.
