Blackberry Server down.

My wife and 2 daughters were flapping quite badly earlier when theirs went down.No BBM's,no facebook,no twitter.I found it quite comforting watching their panic striken faces as i spent an our or so reading a book.

Nailed it!

I must say that I am bemused by people's obsession with their electronic comforters. The number of times I see a couple obviously out together both ignoring each other as they tap away makes me laugh. Let's face it, most of the inane texting is trivial pap anyway!

hahaha I campaign against the use of LOL, hate it, dipping into the BB forums to see if there were any updates revealed a very scary world of chaps who things like "I cant live without my BB!" or "Gonna bin this thing and go but an iphone if rim don't sort it out!" weird! Any form of electronic goods WILL falter and one time or another whether it be multi billion pound nav systems in a Mars orbiter or that beeping chiming thing in your pocket, you HAVE to accept a level of failure in anything that uses the wiggly amps to run.

Had no idea consumer blackberries relied on rim to be up. That does seem to be a fail. At least apple and Android don't have that "feature". Yes they do to get apps and mail if you use their service but if you don't your fine.

yeah, two different servers types one for buisness users and one for consumer types like me, but the free world wide messaging service is worth it for me, as all my friends have BB but not always access to a pc or post box, or able to send emails,
