Good evening,

I'm not sure if the bird song in this clip will be loud enough for folk to hear, but it's worth a shot....

Flying high, generally holding position with lots of wing flaps, this incessant chatter. I did get a glance of feathers after one of them bombed down to the field - two distinct white flashes in the tail feathers.

Does this help anyone to identify it please?

Without being able to see or hear it on your video I would guess at a Skylark.

At this time of year they will hold position in the sky and twitter away endlessly, eventually dropping into the field

A very familiar and comforting sound. I remember them from when I was a child and now I'm lucky enough to have them singing around our house.

Very badly translated: To the summer, one month from skylark, half a month from chaffinch, a little from wagtail and when you see swallows it' there.
