Hi Mate, The pattern is basket stamped using one tool over an over to made the pattern up . There are diff style of basket stamp tools , i have two of them.

Just not sure about horizontal carry, seems like a good way to inadvertently remove a kidney!

I like the horizontal carry. I am SERIOUSLY considering looking for a custom one in the next few weeks for my mora. Maybe one I can swtich up either horizontal or vertical, depending on my mood. With a firesteel loop. Wow, I am picky!
