Last two weeks I spent with my wife, my 4 y.o. Mary and friends with 2 kids in Beskid Niski, which area is probably THE wildest Mountains in Poland. No cell phone coverage, very small villages, no tourists on trials (wild trials!). So just nature - a place "untouched"...

We lived in a rebuilt house, main part of which was originally built in 1865 (yes, almost 150 years old!). Streams, native forests, fresh air. That's my kind of holidays! Biking, mounaineering, mushroom picking during the days, stream baths and bushkraft projects in the afternoons (I made my first Kuksa! see separate thread in "crafts" forum) and home made wine & beer at night. We had a BLAST!

Some pic's to share:

Excellent Photos'

I think you could quite easily find work as a photographer ( if you don't already )

Looks like a lovely place and a great time had by all. You really do have a good eye for a photo, the barn picture is brilliant.

Reminds me of some of the time I spent in Poland. The countryside is rather different to Britain, largely due to a different farming system and very low population density.

I bought mine when on trip to Poland. it's been what? over year and a half? i own 50L just the one u r thinking about. i was tempted to buy the pack by my Polish friends and i'd say it was a good choice. i find the quality superb, no damages to the fabric. i also liked the price, don't remember how much it exactly, around half of what kifaru would cost you. i definately recommend it. I'll try to post more info if i have some time.
