Hi folks,
I headed out with my brother for a brew today; we took a few pics for you guys to enjoy with us
Looking over our shoulder on the walk in gave us a look down Eastbourne's seafront toward the pier.
From there we dropped down on to the shingle and headed west toward the lighthouse. The tide was about 3 hours into its ebb revealing some sand and a wave cut platform.
The lighthouse came in to view quite quickly but we wouldn't walk to its base today,
we stopped short in a sheltered bay and fired up the volcano kettle...for the first time
It took us about 12 minutes to get the water hot enough for our brew.
Brew time
While I got the tea sorted my brother took the opportunity to sketch the scene with a single line drawing.
This was my brother's first back to basics trip with me. He enjoyed getting away from the madding crowd and just being out there... we'll be doing this again
I've got a hammock and tarp coming for him though the GB.
I hope you like our pics.
