any of you old soldiers remember a tactical awareness demo called "night noises"? (it may have just been an anglian regt thing).

if you do, i would be happy to set it up with a little help of a few volunteers!

how about demo's on the various crawling styles?

any views?

Can I just ask...

Does the planned camp area and the layout of the site mean there will be a separate car park area or is the intention to drive the cars onto the field and pitch tent next to it, as you would do on a 'normal' camp site ?

I'm just thinking about what to take/ how to pack it.
It will make a difference if we're supposed to walk a mile or two from the car.

The private car park area & camping area are in a clearing in a nice private woodland.... no long hikes if you pitch in the woods next to your car ;-)

Do you mean the one that you go through in training at DQD Bassingbourne?

shouting, marching 5am wake up....i lost a stone in weight in 2 weeks!! :shock:

well bassingbourne is where i trained, the Night niose demo was done on a nearby wooded training area.does, ciggarette, messtins, shovel, torch, talking at night, does that mean anything to you? if it does send me a messege(PM)!

for the night noise demo to be as effective as it was for me, a few secrets need to be kept, as I'm sure you realise.

I see a possible problem. Around the 20th is results day. A and AS level results are around the 20-21-22 possibl later but i will have to check. Bugger.
