Bacho Laplander, should i purchase one?

At the last Midlands Meet, Scrumpy and Wayland had a small contest between the Laplander and the Silky.

Both agreed (as I recall) that the Silky was miles better than the Laplander in the limited test they carried out.

I'm not sure I would say miles better, but its certainly a better saw in my book - more comfortable and easier to cut with - cuts faster and binds less.

That said the Laplander is a very good saw indeed I thought it was the best till I tried the Silky - then I realised otherwise

I had a go with both at the last meet and the silka really did come out on top my £5'99 from Aldi was way down the list although not bad for the price but did keep sticking on branches of 3in or more

the silky saw is far and away the better saw imho, but i still use a laplander and i have no intention of changing it at all.

isn't it nice that the world makes no sense whatsoever?!

oh yeah, you should buy one, they're awsome
