axe advice

theres a lot of good vibes on this forum for gransfor axes but has anyone tried these?

it seems to be a bit cheaper than gransof axes. i'd be using it for splitting logs for the fire at home and out camping.

I prefer a wooden handle as it seems to weather better and is a lot lighter. Wetterlings are cheaper than Grannies but to be honest for the extra 15 aquid id go for a Gransfors.

I have 2 and they are both absolutely fantastic.

whats the quivalent gransfors, im thinking that maybe the small forest axe would suit me best. but the cutting edge looks small.

The SFA has a 3 1/4 inch face, same as the axe you linked to. 19 inch handle, 1 1/2 pound head. It's a beauty - I'd've gone for one if I was planning on using it for anything other than camping.
