AVG anti virus- oops!

Just so you know, AVG latest up date confilcts with some versions of XP. It will send yoursystem into a reboot cycle.

So load it up in safemode and use the backdate software.... I and four other people got caught out this morning.

I loaded Avast! instead.

I've been using it for years meharteys and it hasn't failed me yet! - seems to detect everything that the firms av (etrust) that they pay goodness knows how much for.....

commodo is quite good, anti virus and firewall and less probe to conflicts i have found.
