This may sound like a stupid question but...
...When I try to attach a picture I get a message saying that there are too many pixels in the picture (you know what I'm talking about). Does this mean that the picture is too detailed or that is is physically to big?

too big, you'll need to reduce it's size as the measurement across is in pixels rather than say millimetres..

Using the gallery (if it's a good pic ) is another option.
