Hey there fellow bushcrafters! I have been busy on a website that is going to present Bushcraft to Lithuanian public. It's a very unfamiliar subject out here, but I believe, that by spreading good word we might change peoples mind towards nature and overexploitation. To encourage young and old to get out more and apreciate what's on offer. I have met an incredible bunch over here and I thank you all for the support and good words. But today I have one more favour to ask. Many of you have done some very useful articles and tutorials on different bushcraft skills and techniques, so if any of you would be willing to post it in Lithuanian Bushcraft site (free for all) I would be most pleased! Of course you'd be the Author and there would be a direct link you your blog or site where it's from and I would only translate it. Thanks a lot, I'm hopping your support :)

Best of luck with it :D

A lot of the countryside skills that are either forgotten or rarely known of here are still well understood in your neck of the woods :)
It'll be interesting to see what folks post from your side too.

Do you think you could maybe find a good translation program that could be somehow attached to your forum so we could read articles and threads in English ?
I buy stuff from Continental re-enactor sites and they seem to manage to do their own language, English and French, Italian or German, so the programs are out there.
Don't know if it might cost you to use them though :dunno:

From BcUK to your new site links.....we ask for a reciprocal link in your links section and you can put your link in your signature line here. That way it'll show in all of your posts :)

cheers,
Toddy

Translation could be complicated with automatic stuff because of the huge differences in grammar. But I'll se how it goes. We have quite a few heads here so hopefully will work something out :) thanks Toddy :)

It was just an idea :) I could see that it could be a bit of a pain in the neck though.
If it could be incorporated I suspect you might get a lot of folks interested from outside Lithuania.
Lot of Lithuanian diaspora around the world. There's a fair sized community not far from where I live.

I meant something such as Matuls has on their site

(no connection, just a happy customer)

cheers,
Toddy
