I have a similar 5.11 zipped ‘Duty’ boot and my only criticism is that the padded lining around the heal sections gave way prematurely. However, upon reflection I now suspect this is a by-product of the tendency to wear the boots between full-on missions with the zip less than fully closed for comfort which, of course, permits excessive movement of the foot within the boot, leading to friction induced abrasion.

Perhaps then see this as helpful user guidance rather than a poor product rating?
