Vikings - they weren't 12 ft tall. That was exaggeration as happens in all tales of daring do - I'd also be able to give these stories more credance if they came from a slightly more trusted source. 10ft tall skeleton - where is it now?

I can knock up a website to "proove" any bizarre theory... Some museums claim to have genuine Yeti scalps - doesn't mean they are. Why is this story relegated to the more bizarre corners of the web? I remain very sceptical.

I think the perspective on the denture photo is significantly distorted. its also comparing apples with oranges as the hairy giant teeth are still set into the lower jaw so will look much bigger. Not convinced on that one. Guess they dont have skulls to compare?

there are only two museums in Winnemucca, where the article claims the Jaw is - neither lay claim to holding the bones of giants (which if you're trying to attract paying visitors is what you'd do). One is the Buckaroo Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum and the other is http://humboldtmuseum.org/
