Anywhere to go in northampton area?

hi all,

Im new to bushcraft and foraging and and all the rest and was wondering if you know of any good places to go in northampton and the surrounding areas, preferably as close to northampton as possible.

I do have a local lake and wood but it is trashed and is only about 10-20 metres deep then you end up in a farmers field

Hello there young'un. If you you go back to page 2 on this "out and about" forum there's a post called bushcraft friendly sites by red kite. Near you at Yardley Hastings is a Scout site called Spotley Wood, this sounds ok to me and may be worth checking out.

i live near salcey forrest...you can see allsorts if you get off the tourist tracks...mind you it might be a bit far for you..depending what part of northampton you are from...and maverick i didn't know about that site ..thank you
