Most peep seem to recommend either Fenix or NiteCore at present.

Both fantastic brands.

Another very good bargin in terms of torches are those at Tescos.

They have a 2 C cell LED that is fantastic value for money. Ok, perhaps the build quality isn't the same as more expensive ones but then it's a third of the price or better

I will second that, I picked up the C cell & AA cell at the weekend and for the money I just dont think you can go wrong.

Ive been playing with the C cell and its performance is very impressive indeed - especially for £12!!
