Anyone near Derby/ Notts who can teach me how to sharpen a knife and axe?

I have read all the posts about knife/ axe sharpening and to be honest, they all scare the living daylights out of me - I have just invested in a decent axe and knife and want to make sure I get it right.

Is there anyone living Derby/ Notts way who would take the time to show me? I am happy to provide beer.............!!!!!
