Anyone bought shares in woodland or working farms?

Just after some advice here.

I've recently been looking into investing some money into something that I believe to be actually beneficial and worthwhile and through research have found a few options.

I was wondering if anyone has bought or owns a share in either some woodland or in a working farm that can share their experiences?

If anyone has any information as to other schemes available I would also greatly appreciate it.

I've often thought about trying to get a consortium together to buy some woodland. Done nothing more than mull it over in my noggin though.

Well it is definately something i'm interested in but I wouldn't know where to start and obviously it takes a lot of investment from the get go.
