Prairie winters in western Canada are really too cold to do much of anything outdoors at -30C in a stiff North wind. There is a pack of those men who have decided to heat their workshops and replicate as many suits of European armor as they can.
They holidayed all over Europe and England , taking pictures and making measurements.
I walked into a business to buy a single part for my lawn mower. No big deal.
Instead, I was in a hall of a dozen suits of shining armor, to get to the actual business of my interest.
It's fantastic to see the replication where none has existed before.
