My Vango ridge tent finally gave out - mice raiding my shed....grrrr! Anyhow, I looking for a sub £100 2 man tent. Mostly for summer use hiking and canoeing. I like the look of the Vango Banshee and it has had some good reviews.

Any suggestions welcome!

I have a nylon vango force 10 mk4 that I would be willing to trade.
If you wanted to replace like for like!

BAnshee is good but so is the slightly roomier spectre 200. Can get both cheaply if you shop around a bit.

If you are tall then the banshee could be a bit short I think. The spectre fits me in at 6'5" easily. Well two of me could easily fit in with gear.

I have a banshee 200 and it's a bit cramped, I am about 6 ft and feel that it's a bit short and tight. I have seen the halo and played with it in a shop and I really like it, much more room and feels a lot roomier.

I feel like the banshee is like a bivi you can put your rucksack in too and that's about it, fine for an overnighter but I've used it over a weekend and it drove me mad.
