Can any one recommend a complete or covers most eidble wild fruits/plants for sweden/finland ? i have an excellent little book (colins uk, food for free by richard mabey) be brilliant to find a similar little book for sweden/finland any one any suggestions ? much apprec for this tenderfoot on such matter.

There are not that many good edible plants in Scandinavia that you cannot learn to distinguish without a book. Most of these are not poisand I think all the lethal ones grow also in Central Europe, so you should already be familiar with them. Anyway I have not seen a book written in English just on edible plants growing in Fennoscandia, but all of them also cover the whole flora.
I can list all of the dozen or so "basic" plants that have some nutrional value, if you like so.
