Another folding bow saw....................(pic heavy)

I've not made much kit for myself for a while so thought I have a go a making a folding bow saw.

Here's my efforts.........





I had a slight problem that when I tightened the string one of the uprights split due to the slot for the blade to hide in. So after making a replacement I also fitted to spreaders to stop the string crushing the uprights.



The blade is fastened with M6 screws into Brass inserts and I add a spare to the cross bar just in case.

I've made a carry case for it along the lines of the Woodlore one so it can be carried with my SFA. I'll post a photo of it later on.
