No, plenty of sharps in Living History and reenacting, feasting, preparation of food and other stuff. Weapon checks before battles to avoid bloody mistakes. All covered by the exemption. Amusingly the law does not distinguish between blunt and sharp stuff so our sharp stuff is covered.
