Funny, none of the old gif images will open for me now.

The images are all using http:// rather than https:// and considered insecure content so are being disabled by default. Possible to remedy by allowing insecure content for here (bushcraftuk.com).

If you are using Chrome. Click on the padlock to the left of the address in the address bar. Select site settings. Scroll to "Insecure content" and switch it from Block to Allow.

For me to get certification for all my sites would cost me a fortune.

My business site gets it but I'm not going to pay for all my hobby sites because they don't earn me any money.

Also, because I do not collect any data I do not really need https:// functionality so if you want to see my content you will need to change your browser settings.

Well that worked as I can now view Garys' pictures once more

Chrome version 88 (released January this year) implemented the change to block all mixed content.

Firefox still displays fine, but don't know if it's part of their future plans.
