That's wonderful. The best images of the huts I've seen, you can imagine yourself there.

I was looking for a picture of one of the huts to respond to a post on the Steam Tent Co-op FB page when I found an article mentioning them.

I love the fact that you can change your position and orientation and zoom in too. Fascinating.

wow! - you look at them and think 'cool old expedition hut' then remember that this hut is in the middle of the antartic!!!!

They were certanly make of strong stuff!

Brilliant. I like the fact you can zoom in on the detail - for example, the coats are hung on coat hooks but the fire utensils and other things are hung on nails - slightly weird

Just sent the links to a friend with virtual reality goggles which work with Google Steetview - that could be quite eerie walking around those old cabins
