Popped into a furniture store today to order a reclining chair for my mother in law. It's one of those old independent family run affairs which has been going since the war. It's a bit of a tatty store and a right old jumble. Anyway after we had done the business on the chair I spotted this tucked away on a unit with a load of carpet samples stacked in front. It was covered in dust and had a sticker for £35 on it. I said, "would you do me a deal on this old thing ?"
He said, "sure how does £20 sound ?"
I said. " pretty good."
I think it's a bargain with some lovely features. Below is a picture of the top and bottom. A nice piece of Olive I think.
It's about 16" diameter and the heights about 4 inches. I think I might use it for my bread making.
