I missed the program sadly (swmbo had torchwood on), but I can't see what the problem with eating any roadkill that isn't rancid or a pet. I've eaten badger and it was bloody tasty thankyou! Also had odd deer, pheasants, duck and rabbits from the roadside. All in good nick and all very good eating

What did you think to it? The film makers blatantly took advantage of them didn't they! All joking aside as to their madness, I reckon it is just now and then that they act up a bit, but they've obviously edited all of the normal behaviour out and portrayed them as raving mentalists!
Yes they were a bit eccentric, and yes the film maker picked the worst bits, but the two real oddballs were the newcomers who played up to camera. The two farmers, what can I say? They are pretty much like some farmers I've met, mind you the fathers singing did remind me of me 
the producers tried making them out to be hillbilly types,when i saw the guy in the caravan with the guitar i thought they were gonna ask him to do dueling banjos.
Having said that the guy doing the tai chi whilst hold of his axe and torch was quite mad IMO.Did he dig the cats lair himself.

ok... lol When i saw this i thought this was some kinda black comedy, sumthing in between the office and the league of gentlemen. Really shocked, and i really felt that these people were being exploited and made fun of by the camera. not as informative as i would liked it to have been.
I saw parts of this..in between flicking through the channels, and my immediate thought was "I hope they are not on the bushcraft forum".
Sure they were made to look like numpties, but in all honesty, who in this day and age would (if they were asked) not demand refusal or editing rights to a docu/soap. These guys wanted the attention come what may.

I personally wouldn't spend 10 seconds talking to either of those muppets. One bloke couldn't give a damn about how his wife feels, and the other seems to have a major screw loose.
I saw him "demonstrate" how he would use a knife or an axe on a big cat....I almost pee'd myself. As if he was being stalked the big cat, would meeeow out loud to let him know it was there... he wouldn't even have a chance. The other thing I thought was hilarious, was when the lambs were bleeting, he said something along the line of, they are worried, there must be a big cat around....As someone who has lived in the country from a young age, I can tell you that lambs bleet if they are more than a few meters away from their mum....
Sometimes involuntary Euthanasia should be enforced on certain people!

Has anyone thought that the cat hunter may have been slyly ripping the p*ss out of the presenter, trying to get him to wet his little frillies by pretending the big bag monster was going to get him?

I was really disappointed when I saw this porgram.
I had previously read a write up about his road kill cook book and thought ....i want to see that. Then i heard that a program was being shown about him and thought YAY !!....... then sadly i saw it.
It was not in anyway shape of form what i expected. It could have been so much better than it was. For me it should have concentrated on the recipies and how he cooks. Not an expose on the quirky lives of people.
We as a nation have a long and proud history of eccentric people. We as a nation seem to specialise in people who live on the fringes of society and good on them too. They are living their lives the way they want ( irrelevant of whether you approve of the choices they make) which is more than can be said for most of us.
Long live the eccentric!

Eccentrics bring real colour to the world ( bless em ) and instead of worrying about "them" I would be more worried about those callers stupid yet disturbing messages, they were the
