We have not had one done by a structural engineer, but a building engineer checked it out carefully.
I too went over the house, and garage house too, for example tapped on all wall tiles in the bathrooms, checked the outside walls for cracks, garage floor, everything.
Water pipes do not leak.

As we live in an area formerly a mangrove, the house is built on piles that go down to the bedrock, 9-10 meters below ground.

House is reinforced concrete, can flex but can not break apart. The engineer thought the house flexed when the bedrock moved, and the movement was transmitted through the piling like a whip. The crack is in the middle of a floor that is very wide.

The damage inspector from the insurance company is busy, lots of ‘tiny’ damages in many houses.
Many cast concrete pools are cracked. Our pool only flexed heavily. Like a boat!
Today we chose the new pool border tiles. Glass, deep blue, iridescent.
Will look cool!

Well, after the quake, today our dump caught fire. Big, big fire, not the usual tiny ones.
The old tyre heap is burning too, it is downwind from the dump.
We have some strong winds today, and they fan the fires. Huge fire, lots and lots of smoke.

No rain for two months.

Poor people living downwind, they need to evacuate.
