What markings has the 58 pat water bottle got?
Just picked one up from a mate and my crusader mug doesn't fit on it.
Seem to remember that another bottle similar

my crusader fits fine - no jamming or anything - sounds like its not a 58 pat bottle

I had (before I left it in a train station) a steel mug of a similar pattern (dutch army, perhaps) that would fit over the bottom of a 58 pattern bottle. I've wanted to buy another but my local surplus store hasn't had them since. Incidentally, I had to jam on it on and scratch the bottle to make it fit: are you being too gentle? The plastic is a foot thick and scratches wouldn't hurt.

The '58 pattern bottle fits in the Crusader with room to spare.

Thanks for the replies......same code but says 1992 osprey(?!)
I was being thick I think......thought that my ptfe (crusader?) sat on top of the bottle ,hhmmmmnn it sits on the bottom then........better stick to the platypus!!!!!
Can you get a hoser aka camelback type tube for the top?

No, The top comes off so you can attach the S10 respirator drinking draw to it in an NBC environment!
